Our teams bring dedication, professionalism, and purpose to every site we serve. We are looking for a proven Lead Janitorial Worker who takes pride in their work and wants to grow with us.

The Lead Janitorial Worker provides on-site operational leadership for assigned contract location(s), ensuring cleaning and environmental services are delivered to contract specifications, OSHA standards, and The Kennedy Collective's quality benchmarks. This role blends hands-on service delivery with functional supervision - directing shift personnel, training staff, completing quality inspections, and serving in the Site Supervisor's capacity when required.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and coordinate daily assignments for custodial staff on your assigned shift.
  • Perform hands-on cleaning duties including floors, restrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces.
  • Train new and existing staff on cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety standards.
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure all work meets contract specifications.
  • Enforce OSHA safety standards and proper chemical handling protocols.
  • Serve as the on-site supervisor when the Site Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Maintain supply inventory, complete required logs, and report issues promptly.
  • Support snow removal and exterior maintenance as outlined by contract.

  • Floor care expertise (stripping, waxing, buffing, refinishing).
  • Valid Driver's License with Real ID - personal vehicle required on-site.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Reliable, team-oriented, and safety-focused.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and move throughout the entire shift, and operate powered custodial equipment.
