Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP)- A career of caring

CTF Illinois is looking for caring, dependable, and motivated people to join our team. Together we can empower each person we support with developmental disabilities to live the life they want to live.

As a lead direct support professional, you will provide support and guidance as an experienced DSP. You will ensure each person's Personal Plan is implemented and choices on their life are offered and respected. A DSPs responsibilities include:

Daily Living

As a Lead DSP you will assist people with developmental disabilities in their home with daily living skills such as medication administration, meal prep, cooking, dressing, hygiene, and keeping their home clean.

Community

A Lead DSP encourages the people they support to be active in their community by assisting them in attending events, clubs, and shows, and visiting local establishments like their favorite restaurants and shops.

As a member of our team you will be a part of a culture where people are not defined by their differences but recognized for the value they bring to their communities.

Benefits and Pay Range:

  • Lead DSP's earn $17.00 per hour once training is complete.
  • Set Schedule! Monday-Friday 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM. No Weekends!
  • Benefits for full time DSP's include: contributory medical, dental, vision, supplemental life, accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity effective 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.
  • Employer paid short term disability and $20,000 life insurance policy for full-time employees
  • Generous paid time off!
