Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Connections

Connections is currently accepting applications for Lead Direct Support Professional (DSP) positions. We are seeking dedicated and experienced individuals who are passionate about supporting people with disabilities and helping them lead meaningful, engaged lives.

The ideal candidate will have experience providing direct care, as well as a strong understanding of individualized service plans and documentation requirements. In this leadership role, you will help plan, coordinate, and oversee daily activities both at the center and in the community, ensuring high-quality care and engagement for all individuals served.


Key Responsibilities

Depending on assigned duties, Lead DSPs may:

  • Develop and maintain a monthly activity calendar
  • Collaborate with coordinators to address questions from individuals and DSP staff
  • Review and assist with data collection, documentation, and billing processes
  • Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Plan and implement a consistent schedule of engaging on-site activities
  • Promote active participation and engagement throughout each individual's day
  • Maintain agency vehicles, ensuring they are clean, fueled, and in proper working order
