Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point, NC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM (8.5-hour shifts)

Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide high-quality behavioral health care services at the Naval Health Clinic Cherry Point. This is an excellent opportunity to support active-duty military personnel and their families while working within a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Master’s degree in social work (MSW)

  • Accreditation: Graduate of a CSWE-accredited School of Social Work

  • License: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as an LCSW

  • Experience: Must meet clinical competency requirements as outlined by Service-specific credentialing instructions

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver a full range of clinical social work services within scope of licensure

  • Provide crisis assessment, intervention, and safety planning

  • Conduct independent psychosocial assessments for diverse patient populations

  • Formulate and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams

  • Deliver individual, group, couples, and family therapy

  • Utilize mental health diagnoses and treatment procedures, including for acute and chronic conditions

  • Coordinate and refer patients to appropriate community and government resources

  • Participate in peer reviews, case conferences, and relevant research studies

  • Offer consultation to medical staff regarding the psychosocial needs and support plans for patients
