Laundry Aide

The Laundry Aide performs laundering activities within well established guidelines and assigned areas.
Wash, sort, dry and fold linens and personal laundry.
Distribute linens and personal laundry to various locations throughout the facility in a timely and efficient manner, as needed.
Operate washing and drying equipment.
Maintain Laundry Room in clean, safe, sanitary condition.
Assist in searching for and locating missing personal laundry.
Maintain equipment in operating condition.
Maintain adequate supply inventories.
Assist housekeeping aides in performing housekeeping and cleaning activities.
Conduct safety inspections.
Removes waste and disposes of waste.

Minimal Education:
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Minimal Experience:
One year experience in a health care setting preferred.
