Job Summary:

Our Engineering and Maintenance department does it all! From troubleshooting to preserving our rich history and being stewards of our iconic lodges, hands-on skills are needed to get the job done right. Laundry Maintenance Technicians troubleshoot, repair and maintain industrial laundry equipment.

The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: December 2026 to March 2027Pay: $22.50/hour - $24.35/hourSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain laundry equipment and associated systems (mechanical, electrical, structural). 
  • Perform scheduled inspections and maintenance using CMMS; document and report work accurately. 
  • Assist training laundry staff on proper equipment use and maintenance; provide operational support when assigned. 
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and company safety standards; identify and correct unsafe practices. 
  • Promote and adhere to Xanterra's environmental and sustainability programs. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 
Qualifications
  • Manufacturer training or certifications for industrial laundry equipment. 
  • Advanced mechanical aptitude for predictive, scheduled, and emergency maintenance. 
  • Knowledge of tools, materials, and procedures for industrial laundry equipment operation and repair. 
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and procedures. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems. 
  • Familiarity with OSHA and NFPA safety regulations; ability to identify and correct unsafe practices. \
  • Strong mentoring and training capabilities. 
  • Problem-solving skills with patience and persistence. 
  • Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.  

Physical Requirements:  

  • Ability to work in confined spaces and comply with respiratory protection regulations. 
  • Walk up to 0.5 miles over uneven terrain; climb stairs and ladders; work in varied weather conditions at elevations above 6,000 ft. 
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. 
  • Differentiate colors for water testing. 
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
