What You’ll Do

The Virtual Market Manager is responsible for independently developing, strengthening, and managing relationships within their assigned state with the use of virtual capabilities. This role focuses on expanding the organization’s national presence through proactive outreach, digital engagement strategies, and personalized virtual consultations. The Virtual Market Manager serves as a trusted financial partner for FourLeaf building strong connections with individuals, businesses, and community organizations within their respective state while achieving the primary objective of driving growth in deposits and lending. This leader is an entrepreneurial Market Leader responsible for building and leading a new market presence from the ground up.  The Virtual Market Manager will own the market, lead deposit growth to $25 million annually, and ultimately launch and lead a physical branch presence. This leader will operate as a Regional Manager in-training, with visibility to executive leadership and a clear path toward regional leadership.

This position will be based in Columbus, Ohio.

Core Contributions

  • Market Development, Sales & Growth:
    • Build and execute a market growth plan to achieve $25MM in deposit growth annually.
    • Identify and pursue high-value consumer and commercial deposit opportunities.
    • Develop centers of influence (COIs).
    • Generate new consumer, business, and nonprofit relationships.
    • Lead consultative financial conversations.
    • Partner with marketing on localized campaigns.
    • Provide competitive intelligence.
    • Deepen relationships with existing members.
    • Increase product penetration.
    • Serve as the face of FourLeaf in the market.
    • Participate in chambers and local events.
  • Drive sales and expand membership by proactively engaging members and prospects through a consultative needs assessment approach, supported by strong financial expertise and hands on branch operations experience. Identify opportunities across deposits, lending, investments, and digital solutions, while partnering with internal teams to deepen relationships and consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Responsible for delivering $25MM in annual deposit growth across the statewide portfolio.
  • Identify growth opportunities across the state by leveraging data and digital tools to pinpoint under engaged segments, assess member needs, and develop tailored outreach strategies for each area identified. Execute targeted outreach to strengthen engagement, expand relationships, and drive measurable growth within the state portfolio.
  • Effectively leverage available tools, resources, and digital capabilities to engage both prospects and members throughout every interaction. A strong understanding of self service solutions is essential to properly onboard new relationships, support member adoption, and drive ongoing engagement.
  • Work with the leadership team to ensure achievement of the vision and strategy of the expansion of the new market is met and continuously look for ways to improve the level of service through this channel and enhance opportunities.
  • Ensure effective utilization of all systems and applications while maintaining efficiency, accuracy and in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsible for the overall adherence to security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures for respective Virtual Branch. Work with Retail Banking Support & Retail FLOD as needed to ensure compliance.
  • Partner with Retail leaders to develop and execute strategies that position the identified market for future branch expansion aligned with our small branch model. Serve as a key leader in the transition from a virtual branch presence to a physical location, supporting all phases of development including market preparation, operational setup, and the successful launch of the new branch as the Branch Manager. This responsibility helps build the experience and leadership foundation required for future model designs.

The estimated salary for this role is $106,391 to $127,669 annually.
