Laser Technician
Location: Bensenville, IL
Pay Range $70,000-80,000
Work Schedule: Onsite Monday through Friday
Employment Type: Direct Hire

In this vital role, you'll manage and optimize laser equipment to ensure precision, quality, and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to the seamless operation of our production lines, supporting the creation of top-tier products through advanced laser welding techniques. Required Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of CO2 gas laser systems, particularly PRC brand lasers.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience working with laser equipment.
  • Strong electrical background and circuit board knowledge.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, laser gas systems, chilled water, compressed air, and exhaust systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot laser issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-department teams.

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with installing equipment updates or upgrades.
  • Training or mentoring experience with operators or department managers.
  • Knowledge of peripheral support equipment and system integration.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Technical diploma or equivalent in electrical, industrial, or mechanical fields.
