Located in the heart of downtown New Braunfels, The Faust Hotel is a historic boutique hotel known for refined service, elevated comfort, and meticulous attention to detail. Behind every perfectly prepared guest room and beautifully set table is a laundry professional ensuring linens meet our 5-star presentation standards.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team.
Compensation: $16.00 hourly
Position Summary
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, pressing, folding, and organizing hotel linens and towels to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role plays a critical part in delivering a seamless luxury guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently
  • Sort linens by type, color, and soil level
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, and wear; remove or report as needed
  • Fold, press, and organize clean linens according to hotel standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry facility
  • Monitor inventory levels of linens and laundry supplies
  • Follow proper chemical handling and safety procedures
  • Assist housekeeping team as needed during peak occupancy

Qualifications
  • Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
