Job description

Position: Vocational Trades Instructor: Eco Landscaping
Salary: $18 - $21 per hour
(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
Job Type: Full Time
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position serves as an Eco Landscaping and Forestry instructor for Cornerstones of Care youth. The instructor will be responsible for providing regular classes and workshops for the youth. Through classes and workshops the workforce development and vocational lessons with a heavy emphasis on eco native landscaping and forestry. Primary duty is to provide a strong and meaningful learning experience for the youth. The instructor is expected to work with numerous partners and manage wild sanctuaries and native spaces with the youth and is expected to engage the youth in professional working environments and help prepare these youth for job opportunities in these fields.
QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires a high-school diploma. The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree. Two (2) years of experience in building trades related field is required along with two (2) years of experience working in a youth guide, instructor or teaching capacity. Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
