Governors Club | Chapel Hill, North Carolina Governors Club, a premier private country club in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Manager to lead the Club's landscape maintenance operations and help maintain the exceptional appearance and standards of the property. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on landscape professional who takes pride in quality, attention to detail, horticultural excellence, and team leadership. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining and enhancing the landscaped areas throughout the Governors Club property. Position ResponsibilitiesThe Landscape Manager will be responsible for:Managing the daily operations of the clubhouse, tennis and fitness center landscape groundsMaintaining the Club's ornamental landscapes, trees, shrubs, annual color, perennial beds, turf areas, and common areas.Maintain golf course landscape bedsWork with Golf Course Superintendent to manage driving range mowing and details.Developing and implementing seasonal landscape maintenance programs.Coordinating pruning, planting, fertilization, irrigation, weed control, pest management, mulching, and other horticultural practices.Monitoring the health and appearance of plant material and identifying potential disease, insect, irrigation, or cultural issues.Maintaining a high level of detail throughout the club property, including entrances, clubhouse surroundings, golf course landscapes, and member-use areas.Coordinating landscape improvement projects, renovations, and new installations.Managing landscape equipment, materials, inventory, and chemical applications in accordance with applicable regulations.Working closely with the Director of Grounds and Golf course Superintendent to ensure consistent property standards.Ensuring all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards expected of a premier private club.QualificationsMinimum of 1-3 years of professional landscape management experience.
