The range of services we offer includes landscaping, irrigation, mowing, lawn fertilization, landscape maintenance, outdoor and holiday lighting and snow removal. POSITION SUMMARY
The Landscape Install Foreman is an integral part of our Install team. The Foreman oversees and coordinates a crew of two to four employees to process work orders. The quality and customer satisfaction for each job will be the responsibility of the Landscape Install Foreman. Daily equipment maintenance must be completed. This position will support other seasonal services as necessary. This is a full-time, seasonal position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS
  • Leadership capability and demeanor to effectively manage and train a crew of two to four people
  • Thoroughly understands all aspects of landscape installation as outlined in company standard operating procedures
  • Familiar with all aspects of landscape construction to include patios, walls, water features, low voltage lighting, operating equipment, demolition, site and soil prep, grading, planting
  • Able to operate equipment: skid loader, saws, edging machines, compactors, and other pertinent machinery
  • Ability to keep jobs on schedule and on budget while meeting production rates and maintaining quality standards
  • Ensures safety procedures are followed, accidents and First Report of Injury forms are properly documented and reported
  • Follow all instructions given by the Supervisor
  • Prepare vehicles and equipment for the day's work
  • Demonstrate customer service and professionalism, communicating effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Perform all daily preventative maintenance on company equipment
  • Possess a basic understanding of math and elevations
  • Be self sufficient and work effectively with little supervision

  • Responsible for snow removal routes
  • Duties, responsibilities and activities subject to change at any time with or without notice to accommodate seasonal and peak business demands

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in horticulture, landscaping, or other applicable is preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 1 year of landscape construction experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Possess valid driver's license and must be insurable on company's insurance policy

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must maintain regular and reliable attendance at a level acceptable to the company, including the ability to work overtime, holidays, evenings or weekends as necessary.
  • Able to lift/carry 50 lbs. on a regular and consistent basis, move about the work site
  • Exposed to exterior elements (i.e. pollen, chemicals, cold and heat, etc.)
  • Extended periods of activity; walking, standing, kneeling, bending and lifting
  • Typical work week requires 40-55 hours, some Saturdays as needed
