What you'll do:

As the Ground Supervisor, you will oversee and actively participate in all aspects of campus grounds and landscape maintenance, including:

  • Leading day-to-day landscaping operations such as mowing, pruning, planting, fertilizing, mulching, and seasonal clean-up
  • Ensuring a safe, attractive, and well-maintained campus year-round
  • Coordinating and supporting snow removal operations, including equipment readiness and staffing
  • Supervising grounds staff, contractors, and volunteers while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency
  • Managing tools, equipment, supplies, and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Supporting budgeting, documentation, and compliance within the Facilities and Grounds Department

Grounds Supervisor Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years of landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license with ability to operate company vehicles and transport materials/equipment
  • Preferred: knowledge of horticultural, including plant care, landscape design, and sustainable practices
  • Possession of or ability to obtain Wisconsin Commercial Pesticide and Fertilizer Applicator License within 6 months of hire
