About the Role 
The Real Estate Paralegal will support all land and real estate activities across Nova’s renewable energy development portfolio, including lease administration, title support, document coordination, amendment processing, payment tracking, and landowner records management. 
  • This role will partner closely with Development, Legal, GIS, Project Management, and external land/title vendors to ensure land agreements and related documentation are accurately maintained throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Prepare, organize, track, and maintain leases, easements, amendments, access agreements, estoppels, landowner payment information, and other documents to support land administration.  
  • Coordinate with the Development team to determine upcoming deliverables to advance projects or advance greenfielding efforts 
  • Work with external parties, including title insurance companies, legal counsel, land agents, local governments, and landowners, to execute required documentation 
  • Maintain a database of agreements and contracts  
  • Update and maintain process documents for lease requests and contract management in current tech stack 
  • Support data entry and data management across GIS, SharePoint, IRTH, and Smartsheet  
  • Provide additional admin support to set up new project entities and maintain formation documents 
  • Send out and maintain a tracker for executed NDA’s and MSA’s 
 

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Geography/GIS, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered 
  • 3+ years of experience in land administration, contract administration, lease administration, paralegal support, real estate operations, title support, or a related field 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of agreements, deadlines, and project documentation across multiple active projects 
  • Experience in the renewable energy industry or related field highly preferred 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, willingness to build relationships with landowners and key external consultants  
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment
