Architectural Woods is looking for a Sales Professional to join our team in Vancouver, WA. We have an immediate opening for a sales professional that can manage already established territory and build on it.
Our ideal candidate will have experience with sales development in any of the following product lines or other closely related commodities.
  • Cabinet door / drawer sales
  • Cabinet sales
  • Lumber, plywood or laminate sales
  • Hardware sales
  • Wood finishing sales
  • Abrasives sales

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Make cold calls to potential customers to develop new business opportunities.
  • Travel locally to meet prospects and customers.
  • Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads or customer accounts.
  • Educate customers on how products can benefit them financially and professionally.
  • Sell the company's products to customers.
  • Monitor the company's industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs.
  • Follow-up calls to customers regarding order status, as needed.
  • Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.
  • Communicate with customers about products' different features and answer questions they may have in a timely manner.
  • Cross-sell or up-sell products to customers to increase purchase amounts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • College Degree is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with strong work ethic.
  • The ability to develop and execute a sales plan and be able to demonstrate it.
  • Respond courteously and swiftly to customer inquiries or complaints.
  • Be Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint), CRM experience, iPad and smartphone competency, and capable of learning and implementing new technology as added.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal, and be an active listener.
  • Reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
