Role: Sr. Instrument Quality Control Engineer
Location: On Site- Indianapolis
Type: Consultant
Summary:
The Sr. Instrument Quality Control Engineer supports a global LabVantage LIMS implementation across pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality laboratories. This role focuses on instrument qualification, connectivity, and compliance activities to ensure all laboratory instruments are properly registered, validated, and ready for GMP-compliant system go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute instrument qualification activities (IQ/OQ) supporting LabVantage LIMS deployment
  • Register laboratory instruments in LabVantage and maintain accurate instrument records
  • Manage instrument connectivity, mapping, and troubleshooting with IT and QC teams
  • Author and execute CSV and compliance documentation related to instrument integration
  • Maintain instrument qualification and connectivity tracking logs
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve risks impacting instrument readiness and go-live

Key Deliverables
  • Completed instrument qualification (IQ/OQ) and connectivity documentation
  • LabVantage instrument registration records
  • CSV validation deliverables and compliance evidence
  • Accurate instrument readiness and tracking logs

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in instrument qualification or QC engineering in GMP environments
  • Hands-on experience supporting LIMS instrument integration (LabVantage preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of CSV, validation, and regulated laboratory systems
  • Experience collaborating with QA, QC, IT, and validation teams
  • Ability to manage multiple instruments and priorities in parallel

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience with LabVantage instrument registration and connectivity
  • Exposure to Empower or other chromatographic systems
  • Experience supporting multi-site or global pharmaceutical deployments
