Job description

Position : LabVantage Technical Architect

Location : Boston,MA/ Onsite

Pay Rate :$70/hr on C2C model


Must have worked in Labavantage for more than 5 years.


  • Prior hands-on experience evaluating, designing & configuring the LabVantage Empower Connector to integrate Empower 3 (v3.6.1) to LabVantage (v8.8)
  • Should be aware of optional design and configuration approaches and able to advise on best options given our technical configurations, master data setups and functional configurations of both systems
  • Prior hands-on experience evaluating, designing & configuring LabVantage SDMS to bi-directionally integrate complex (file-based) instruments and LabVantage LIMS / LES
  • Should be well versed in options available to interface complex instruments of various types to LabVantage LIMS / LES
  • Should be able to evaluate environments and make recommendations / provide options for how to best interface instruments
  • Should be aware of and able to advise on best options given our technical configs, our NuGenesis instrument data archive solutions and functional configurations to minimize data integrity risks
  • Prior hands-on experience evaluating, designing and configuring LabVantage LIMS / LES to interface simple instruments for data capture
  • Should be well versed in setup and configuration of hardware devices (E.g. Lantronix) to connect simple devices to networks
  • Should be well versed in setting simple analytical device options (balances, meters etc.) to best enable data capture in LabVantage LIMS / LES and minimize data integrity risks
