Job description

Job Title: Lab Director – Clinical Laboratory

Full-Time/Permanent - Direct Hire
Location: Liberal, KS
Salary: Starting from $40.61/hour (Increases based on experience)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Lab Director to lead and oversee clinical laboratory operations in a hospital setting. This is a permanent placement opportunity for a highly qualified professional with strong leadership and technical expertise in laboratory services.

Schedule:

  • Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • On-call responsibilities: Yes (shared rotation; call-back as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the clinical laboratory
  • Supervise and support laboratory staff
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards (including CAP)
  • Maintain quality control and assurance programs
  • Provide leadership across all laboratory departments

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience
  • At least 2 years of hospital supervisory experience
  • Experience with CAP surveys preferred
