Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Laboratory Administrative Assistant-Embryology to join our team at IVF Florida in Margate, Florida.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with the ability to work rotating holidays

This role provides the opportunity to grow within a nationally respected organization while remaining closely connected to the patients and teams you support every day.

How You'll Contribute

In this role, the Laboratory Administrative Assistant-Embryology will:

  • Handle the shipping, receiving and disposition of samples
  • Order and receive lab supplies
  • Perform administrative duties as necessary
  • Maintain a customer service oriented environment
  • Make suggestions on how to reduce lab supply cost
  • Maintain supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level
  • Identify improvement opportunities and participate in resolving problems that are identified
  • Attend meetings
  • Communicate in an open, assertive manner at all times
  • Document all patient care accurately and completely to assure communication with all members of the healthcare team
  • Assist laboratory personnel in performing lab services in accordance with Federal, State, local laws and guidelines to ensure laboratory maintains proper accreditation

Qualifications and Skills Include:

  • Must be locally based in South Florida
  • Bachelors degree in Biology preferred
  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Demonstrate motivation and flexibility
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft office suite including Word and Excel
