Job description

Controlled Contamination Services has been a national provider of facility solutions, technical and decontamination services, since 1993. Our clients are in the Life Sciences, Technology, IT, Defense and Aerospace industries. Utilizing state of the art strategies, processes and human capital, Controlled-CS ensures the highest degree of service and integrity for the sensitive environment we support; impacting those industries that impact the world.

POSITION PURPOSE:

The MicroCleaner Lead oversees the day-to-day cleaning operations and quality programs of specific accounts or group sites.   

SCHEDULE: Full Time- Monday- Friday - Hours will vary based on business needs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.  

  • Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and techniques  

  • Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.  

  • Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained.  

  • Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.  

  • Makes rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas, assigns needed coverage, gives special cleaning instructions and/or assignments, and ascertains compliance with directives.   

  • Maintain records, such as reporting and managing employee paid time off.  

  • Ensures accurate time keeping and ensures labor law compliance  

  • Performs inventories, reports and related work as assigned.  

  • All other duties as defined by supervisor. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1 year of experience in the cleaning and/or janitorial arenas  

  • Versed in safety requirements, equipment use, scheduling and training.   

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence. 
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

REASONING ABILITY:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. 
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
