Job description

Are you looking to get your foot in the door in the graphic printing company or manufacturing industry? Staff Source has an immediate need for warehouse employees at a client site in Porter, Indiana. If you are interested in being a warehouse employee with room to improve your skills and grow with a company, apply online today! These General Labor positions pay $15 hourly. We have 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available.

Responsibilities:

· Working at this company, you can be doing one of the below and cross training to the others as well.

· Catcher – Signs/decals are printed and cured. Catchers collect them, inspect and prepare the signs for the next step in the process. Lifting 20-30lbs of stacked sheets required.

· Cutter - Program the computer to cut out the graphics to specific client requirements. Place all graphics on the plotter machine according to the dimensions and inspect the materials being cut. Prepare signs for next step in the process.

· Weeders - Take each graphic and carefully peel off excess vinyl. Attention to detail is critical in this position.

· Staging/Shipping - Prepare all materials for shipping by organizing inventory.

· Packagers - Order picker kits from the inventory according to client specific needs. Weigh and create shipping labels along with packaging in the outgoing boxes.

Requirements:

· Graphic company or warehouse experience is preferred

· Ability to lift up to 20-40 lbs. regularly

· Must be able to stand, bend and left for long periods of time

· Reliable transportation required

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn

· Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

· Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
