This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in working on sophisticated traditional labor matters for management-side clients while building a long-term practice within a highly respected national Labor & Employment platform.
The Roleโข Traditional labor law matters
โข Labor arbitrations and grievance proceedings
โข Collective bargaining negotiations
โข Union avoidance counseling and strategy
โข Prosecuting and defending unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)
โข Labor relations counseling for employers
โข Direct client interaction and substantive responsibility
โข Collaboration with a nationally recognized Labor & Employment team
Ideal Backgroundโข Approximately 2โ5 years of labor and employment experience
โข Experience with traditional labor law matters strongly preferred
โข Experience serving as first or second chair in labor arbitrations is a plus
โข Experience with collective bargaining, union avoidance, and NLRB proceedings preferred
โข Experience litigating wage and hour class and collective actions is a plus
โข Experience representing employers in matters involving unionized workforces is highly desirable
โข Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
โข Strong academic credentials
โข Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school required
โข Active Pennsylvania bar admission required or ability to waive in
