About the Opportunity

A well-established law firm is seeking a management-side Labor & Employment Associate to join its Denver office. This role involves a balanced mix of employment litigation and advisory work for employers. The position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour cases.


Core Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse caseload of employment litigation matters including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage & hour disputes

  • Handle discovery processes including drafting and responding to discovery requests and conducting depositions

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs

  • Prepare for hearings and represent clients before courts and administrative agencies such as the EEOC

  • Advise employers on federal, state, and local employment law compliance

  • Draft employment policies, procedures, and employee handbooks

  • Provide strategic employment law counsel to business clients


Required Qualifications

  • 3โ€“5 years of labor and employment law experience

  • Experience representing employers (management-side experience preferred)

  • Strong litigation background including drafting pleadings and motions

  • Experience handling discovery and depositions

  • Active Colorado bar admission
