Labor & Employment Attorney โ€“ Los Angeles, CA

A Los Angeles-based law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join its litigation team due to increased workload.

Position Overview:

This role is suited for an attorney with at least five years of labor and employment law experience who can independently manage cases while collaborating with a legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in employment litigation and advisory matters
  • Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and discovery
  • Manage cases from inception through resolution
  • Take and defend depositions and assist with trial preparation
  • Provide legal counsel on employment-related issues

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of labor and employment litigation experience
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
  • Trial preparation experience preferred
  • Public entity experience preferred but not required
  • Active California Bar license

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $170,000 โ€“ $225,000
  • 1,900 annual billable requirement
