ARMStaffing is hiring experienced and compassionate Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurses (RNs) for travel and local assignments in York, PA. Job Description:
As an L&D RN, you’ll care for patients throughout the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum process. You’ll support families during life-changing moments while managing high-risk situations with skill and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs throughout labor and delivery
  • Assist physicians and midwives during childbirth
  • Administer medications and IVs, including epidurals and Pitocin
  • Educate and support patients and families on birth plans and newborn care
  • Manage emergencies such as preeclampsia, hemorrhage, or fetal distress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements:

  • Active RN license (Compact license preferred)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; NRP and fetal monitoring certification preferred
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent L&D nursing experience
  • Strong knowledge of obstetric protocols and fetal monitoring interpretation
  • Calm, confident decision-making in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
