Job Description
Seeking a Finance Manager of Labor and Analytics who will lead the development and delivery of data-driven insights that optimize operational efficiency across Advance Auto Parts. This role is responsible for managing business analysis, building scalable reporting solutions, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to enable strategic decision-making through advanced analytics and visualization tools.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights on Store Operations, labor forecasting, scheduling efficiency and other Operational and Workforce KPIs.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., Snowflake, ERP systems) to create unified reporting views for WFM and operational leaders.
  • Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to support labor optimization and Store Operations strategies.
  • Work cross functionally fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Finance Teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, productivity improvements, and service-level enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and ensure alignment with organizational goals

Technical Qualifications:
  • Ability to model financials with a solid understanding of accounting principles

Ability to define problems, collect data, perform analysis, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of senior management, department heads, and the Operations Teams
Attention to quality, reconciliation, and accuracy are critical as the audience is often mgmt/exec level staff and the decisions being made are significant in scope/impact
Creativity and vision to recommend ways to evolve our infrastructure, process, and analytic capabilities
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related required (Advanced Degrees such as an MBA or cross specialization with a technical specialty (Comp Science, Mathematics, etc. is a plus); and
4+ years of experience in a Finance field
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Will develop over time. Initially collaborating/mentoring with others within the broader organization.
