Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Flexo Press Operator. The ideal candidate will have strong technical press skills, a sharp eye for quality, and a team-oriented, "can-do" attitude.
Ideal Flexo Press Experience: Nilpeter FA-Line or Mark Andy P-7
Key Responsibilities
  • Review job tickets and verify that stock, inks, and dies match specifications.
  • Set up the press, including installation of anilox rolls, inks, stock, dies, and plates.
  • Set impressions and register print-to-print and print-to-die.
  • Load designated materials and inks; adjust the press to paper size and feed through the cylinders.
  • Complete all start-up checks and obtain approval before running production.
  • Operate the press to produce top-quality labels with minimal scrap and downtime.
  • Perform basic press maintenance and upkeep.
  • Follow all safety guidelines in assigned work areas.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience operating a flexographic color label press in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork, accuracy, and consistent quality.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8-10 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally without assistance
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift to 75 pounds occasionally with team assistance or mechanical lifting equipment
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to grip, handle, and manipulate press components, plates, dies, and tools
  • Ability to reach above shoulder level and below the waist to load materials and perform press setup
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and twist during press operation, setup, and maintenance
  • Ability to visually inspect printed materials for quality, color accuracy, and defects, including close and distance vision
  • Ability to distinguish color variations and maintain print registration accuracy
  • Ability to hear and respond to machine sounds, alarms, and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in moderate to loud manufacturing noise environments
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance and work overtime as needed
