Description
The Pilot Lab Filling Technician is responsible for the filling, packaging, labeling, inspection, and preparation of Regulated Drug Products (RDPs) and cosmetic products in compliance with GMP requirements, approved procedures, and batch documentation. This role exists to support R&D product development, testing programs, and pilot-scale manufacturing activities by ensuring products are accurately filled, packaged, documented, and delivered to internal and external stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. The position also supports equipment setup, calibration, cleaning, sanitization, and recordkeeping activities necessary to maintain uninterrupted Pilot Lab operations and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods while supporting filling, packaging, labeling, and cleaning activities in a laboratory environment.
  • Ability to safely lift, move, and handle materials, components, packaging supplies, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in the operation, setup, calibration, cleaning, and sanitization of Pilot Lab filling equipment, including manual, semi-automatic, and automatic fillers, cap torque machines, crimping machines, mixers, and related support equipment.
  • Able to hold meetings with discussion regarding Scheduling of Pilot batches, raw material status, process requirements and batch coverage of the Engineering Team, Formulation Tean and Pilot supervisor prior to making the batch.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to coordinate daily activities and interact with Pilot Lab personnel, R&D Chemists, Quality partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of GMP principles, product quality requirements, data integrity expectations, and laboratory safety practices.
  • High School

Pay Range:
The anticipated hourly range for this position is $19.50 to $29.75. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to hourly rate, this position may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location.
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
