Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily laboratory operations to ensure compliance with CLIA, OSHA, and company standards.
  • Provide leadership, training, and support to laboratory staff across multiple clinic locations.
  • Troubleshoot laboratory equipment, testing issues, and workflow concerns.
  • Coordinate laboratory audits, inspections, proficiency testing, and competency assessments.
  • Monitor quality control processes and ensure accurate laboratory documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Develop, update, and implement laboratory policies and procedures.
  • Assist with new laboratory setup, equipment installation, and staff training for new clinic locations.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and coordinate ordering and distribution of supplies.
  • Review laboratory records, reports, and patient documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with providers, clinic leadership, and the Laboratory Director to maintain high-quality patient care and laboratory performance.
  • Respond to laboratory issues promptly and provide support to clinic teams as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and promote a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Travel to clinic locations as needed to conduct audits, provide training, and support laboratory operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
