This opportunity is a per diem position with a convenient schedule working 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Job Requirements:

Performs and interprets diagnostic procedures in all areas of Clinical Laboratory: chemistry, hematology, serology, coagulation, urinalysis, blood banking, and microbiology. Maintains daily quality control charts and preventive maintenance records. Assists in orientation of new employees. Responsibility encompasses provision of care of patients 0 to geriatric age. May be required to perform phlebotomy.  Will readily cross-train to other job descriptions and float to other departments as deemed necessary by the Laboratory Manager.  The Med Technologist is under direct supervision of the Lab Section Supervisor/Lab Manager and accountable to the Director of Laboratory Services.
