SAIC is seeking a Senior level Manufacturing Engineer to support NSWC Crane, Bedford, IN Division
Senior Calibration Lab Logistician:
• Perform Metrology review and analysis
• Maintain Metrology status tracking tool for continuous improvement
• Process Calibration Certificates
• Provide material for Delinquency and Forecast Reports
Address quality issues in calibration reports related to specifications, tolerances and
measurement uncertainties
• Participate in monthly Calibration Coordinators Group to provide status and guidance for
problem resolution
• Review and report status of Calibration Measurements Requirements Summary to Customers
• Compile and deliver Monthly Status Reports to Customers
• Manage mailboxes and Teams/SharePoint for internal Calibration Lab Groups
• Participate in review of Instruction and other Calibration Lab Standard Operating Instructions
and Procedures
• Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement, providing recommendations and
solutions
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and six (6) years or more of related experience; Masters and four (4) years or more experience. 10 or more years of experience in logistics tasking related to the position accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, databases)
  • Must be able to obtain a full Secret Clearance; no clearance required to start

PREFERRED YEARS EXPERIEENCE: 10 or more years of related experience
