  • Stock and reorder laboratory supplies to ensure continuous availability of materials for testing.
  • Sterilize and wash glassware to maintain a clean and compliant laboratory environment.
  • Test chemical fume hoods for proper airflow and document results according to procedures.
  • Perform pH measurements and general sample preparation in support of laboratory testing.
  • Complete Core Method Training and Sample Registration Training to fully understand and accurately support the laboratory process flow.

  • Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively about deadlines, testing timelines, and workload priorities.
  • Perform any additional tasks needed to help the laboratory run efficiently and support overall operational goals.

  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members around deadlines and testing schedules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in retail, customer service, or serving roles, demonstrating time management, teamwork, and the ability to stay on one’s feet for longer periods of time.
  • Familiarity with 5S methodology for organizing and maintaining workspaces and inventory.
  • Interest in career progression within a structured lab technician ladder (Lab Assistant through Technician levels), with opportunities for increased responsibility, troubleshooting, and pay as experience grows.
