Western Veterinary Specialist & Emergency Centre is a state-of-the-art veterinary emergency and referral hospital, providing expert care and treatment around the clock. We are expanding our team and are welcomingRegistered Veterinary Technicianswho want toexpand their skills, grow professionally,and be part of anamazing collaborative team. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and want to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their families, we want to hear from you! As a specialized Registered Veterinary Technician, you will perform the following key responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced care for 7 to 10 critically ill and injured patients on average per shift

  • Assist with emergency resuscitation, trauma stabilization and critical care management

  • Prepare patients for anesthesia and surgical procedures, monitoring vitals throughout

  • Assist or perform diagnostic testing, lab work and imaging

  • Maintain and prepare medical equipment, medications and supplies

  • Collaborate closely with a skilled team of specialists and technicians to ensure seamless patient care
