Job description

Note: Due to the nature of the work, only US Persons (citizens or permanent residents) need apply for this position.

Design highly complex components and simple automotive sub-systems. Provide technical mechanical design leadership for a major sub-system such as chassis or suspension. Ensure communication between sub-system groups. Verify quality to design team output. Lead design reviews. Resolve technical design conflicts. Assess buildability, manufacturability, and integration with the Lead Design Engineer and Design Managers. Advise first-line supervisors of project status, timing, resource availability, and capability. Assist in establishing design completion dates.
