We are the employer of choice as the owner and operator of Ball Arena, DICK’S Sporting Goods Park, the Paramount Theatre, Denver Nuggets (NBA), the Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Mammoth (NLL), Colorado Rapids (MLS), KIMN,KXKL, KKSE (FM/AM), Altitude Sports amp; Entertainment, Major League Fishing/Fishing League Worldwide (MLFLW), Winnercomm, Outdoor Sportsman Group and SkyCam.
Nature of Work:
The in-game Promotional Team position focuses on the game night activities of the Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth Game Presentation Department. The promotional team will assist with in-game promotional activities and entertainment, team-related special events, as well as all pregame preparations. On game days, the promotional team will need to arrive at least two hours prior to the start of each game and work through the completion of the game. Duties include, but are not limited to, working closely with the stage manager in regard to preparation and execution of game night promotional and entertainment activities, the set up and tear down of equipment and fan engagement and interaction as an Avalanche and Mammoth brand ambassador.

This is a seasonal position with employment concluding at the end of the 2026-2027 Colorado Avalanche and Colorado Mammoth seasons.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities
  • Interest in sports special events, promotions or entertainment
  • Willingness to take direction from several supervisors.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Comfortable working in front of large crowds.
  • Must be personable, enthusiastic and very outgoing.
  • Must be able to work 90% of Avalanche and Mammoth home games including preseason and playoffs for the 2026-27 seasons.
Performance Requirements/Skills
  • Desire to work in a professional sports environment.
  • Desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Interest in contributing creatively.
  • Interest in hockey and lacrosse.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects to different locations.
  • Ability to ice skate is helpful, but not required. Skates will not be provided.
Education/Experience
  • High school degree or GED, required.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
Compensation
  • $19.29/hr for games and events
Working Conditions amp; Physical Demands
Requires lifting of boxes, carpets and promotional material up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand for long periods of time, sometimes up to eight hours a must. Must also be able to tolerate loud music, bright lights, pyrotechnics and flashes in an arena setting. Sometimes requires mobility across ice, court and field surfaces. Comfort with heights not required but encouraged.
