The Photographer is responsible for providing photography services at conventions and events throughout the property. Candidates must possess a basic understanding of digital photography equipment, flash units, and software such as Photoshop and Lightroom. The Photographer will report to the Photography Manager for Disney Fine Arts Photography.

This is a Casual Temporary or Seasonal role with no guarantee of weekly working hours, as hours will fluctuate based on business needs.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and photograph on-location studio sessions
  • Oversee "print on site" sessions
  • Photograph large group photos of up to 300 people and process images for editing, including both group and individual shots
  • Arrange photography risers and determine suitable locations
  • Conduct green screen shoots, matte in backgrounds, and manage virtual background sessions
  • Photograph of character interactions
  • Collaborate with Senior Photographers to provide comprehensive coverage during events
  • Serve as Second Shooter for large weddings
  • Create creative and unique images
  • Photograph small weddings as the primary contact
  • Shoot portrait sessions
  • Photograph product and promotional images in a studio setting
QualificationsYou Have
  • An understanding of photography production in a business environment
  • Experience with Sony cameras, professional lighting equipment, and Mac computers
  • Knowledge of lighting techniques for large group photos (e.g., 500 people), as well as individual and small group posing
  • Ability to determine when and how to use a second light unit as a fill flash or essential light
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Lightroom software, composition, and understanding of the exposure triangle
  • Experience with photography at events or conventions
  • Availability to work weekends, variable shifts, and holidays
Required Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education

A bachelor's (4-year) degree in Photography

The hiring range for this position in Orlando, Florida, is $20.10 - $25.15 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
