KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, HR Business Advisor-Tax to join our Talent & Culture organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the HR business advisor to the Tax NEUNY Business Unit and other Tax national service lines partnering with the leaders and HR centers of excellence to deliver strategic, high-quality, innovative and efficient HR support
  • Coordinate the functional planning and execution of annual HR processes including goal setting, performance assessment, promotion decisions, compensation planning and talent management
  • Analyze trends and metrics leveraging periodic employee engagement surveys, and exit surveys to develop solutions, programs and policies that support the business
  • Collaborate with the People Relations Group peers to address employee concerns and performance management issues
  • Stay informed and current on policies and procedures and any related changes
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:
  • Minimum five years of recent broad Human Resource experience; emphasis on HR strategy, process transformation, change management and people management in a professional services environment preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or Business Administration, or the equivalent work experience; master's degree in an HR-related field, or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • High results orientation with a demonstrated ability to oversee practical, solution-driven initiatives and human resource processes that are perceived as quickly adding value to the business
  • Strong client orientation and the ability to build relationships and credibility within a professional service environment, solid commerciality and business acumen
  • Ability to develop clear and concise written communication. Excellent people leadership, facilitation and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of Peoplesoft; highly proficient in Microsoft office applications: Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access
