Electrical Assembly Technician

Kobelco Stewart Bolling, Inc.
Location: Hudson, OH
Pay: $18.50–$31.25 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

Kobelco Stewart Bolling, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team at our Hudson, Ohio location.

This position is responsible for installing switches, controls, conduit, junction boxes, wiring circuits, and other electrical devices onto new OEM equipment. The ideal candidate will have some electrical assembly experience, be comfortable working from blueprints and electrical schematics, and have a strong ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install switches, controls, conduit, junction boxes, wiring circuits, and other electrical devices on new OEM equipment.
  • Assist with wiring electrical panels and enclosures.
  • Troubleshoot electrical circuits and assist with identifying wiring issues.
  • Read electrical schematics and plan the installation of components.
  • Assemble electrical components according to specifications.
  • Assist in setting up and operating machines to verify proper function and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Complete assigned work independently while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Some previous electrical assembly experience required.
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Prior machine-building experience is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment

This position is performed in an indoor manufacturing environment with minimal exposure to extreme temperatures.

The work environment includes:

  • Forklift traffic
  • Overhead crane use
