About LEDdynamics
LEDdynamics, a 3LED company, designs and manufactures high-performance LED modules, drivers, controls, and custom electronic lighting solutions for OEM customers across North America. Our customers depend on us for engineering expertise, quality manufacturing, and responsive customer support.

We are seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of our manufacturing operation. This is not a corporate management role—it is a leadership position for someone who enjoys being on the factory floor, solving problems, supporting employees, and delivering results.

The Operations Manager reports to the VP, Operations at 3LED Group.

Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the Randolph manufacturing facility. This role coordinates production, planning, materials, quality, engineering, and shipping to ensure customer orders are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Success is measured by operational execution, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
Production Leadership:
  • Lead all daily manufacturing operations.
  • Conduct daily production meetings and establish priorities.
  • Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining quality and safety.
  • Remove obstacles affecting production performance.
  • Monitor labor utilization and productivity.
Planning & Materials:
  • Coordinate closely with Purchasing and Materials Planning.
  • Manage production schedules based on customer demand and material availability.
  • Identify shortages early and develop recovery plans.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and efficient material flow.
Engineering & Quality:
  • Coordinate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) into production.
  • Work closely with Engineering to support new product introductions.
  • Partner with Quality to resolve production issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote standardized work and disciplined manufacturing processes.
Operational Excellence:
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Improve throughput, on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, and productivity.
  • Develop KPIs and review operational performance regularly.
  • Support implementation and effective use of ERP/MRP systems.
Leadership:
  • Lead and develop supervisors and production employees.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach employees and address performance issues promptly.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and professional manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:
  • 5–10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Experience leading production in an electronics, electromechanical, industrial, medical device, or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, materials planning, and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with electronics assembly or PCB manufacturing.
  • Exposure to ISO quality systems.
  • APICS/CPIM, Lean, or Six Sigma training is a plus.

What Success Looks Like:
Within the first 12 months, you will:
  • Improve on-time delivery performance.
  • Establish a consistent daily operating cadence.
  • Improve communication between Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality.
  • Reduce shortages, rework, and expedited orders.
  • Strengthen production discipline and accountability.
  • Build a highly engaged manufacturing team focused on customer success.

Why Join LEDdynamics?
You’ll join a growing technology company where decisions are made quickly, ideas are welcomed, and your contribution has a direct impact on customers and the business. You’ll work alongside experienced engineering, operations, and executive leadership while helping build one of the industry’s most respected manufacturers of LED technology solutions.
