Job Summary:
The station manager is responsible for the oversight and coordination of the exciting day-to-day airport operations, or a segment of the operation. The station manager must have a passion for ensuring safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operational and financial performance of the station.

Job Duties:
โ€ข Builds partnerships with customers and sets the example for the delivery of exceptional customer service.
โ€ข Reviews operational and financial reports to ensure the station is meeting goals and objectives and takes corrective action as required.
โ€ข Participates in employee relations investigations when complaints arise and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner.
โ€ข Recruits new employees to ensure appropriate staffing, promotes team-building initiatives and performs coaching and mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.
โ€ข Ensure that employees are properly trained and audit safety records as needed.
โ€ข Sets, measures and manages the performance of self and others. Leads team members in achieving operational and financial objectives and goals.
โ€ข Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
โ€ข Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
โ€ข Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
Qualifications:
โ€ข High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
โ€ข Must be at least 18 years of age.
โ€ข Possesses a valid Driver's License.
โ€ข Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
โ€ข Supervisory experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
โ€ข Three years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.
Physical requirements:
โ€ข Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, lift up to 70lbs and move up to 70lbs; and constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out. May have to reach above shoulder occasionally.
Working conditions:
โ€ข You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment.
โ€ข Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.
โ€ข Enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis (sun, rain, sleet or snow!) May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods.
