Job description

Job Summary:
Riverside Payments is one of the top merchant processing companies in the country, focused on providing competitive rates and exceptional service to merchants. The Point of Sale Installation Specialist will lead the installation and technical support of POS systems, ensuring a smooth integration for merchants and providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
Responsibilities:
• Support our merchant’s various payment processing technologies via email, text, and phone
• Work with POS resellers to ensure proper integration with all platforms
• Provide demos to prospective merchants to ensure all systems meet the needs of each merchant's business
• Work with the POS Communications Coordinator to ensure strong relationships between merchants and POS partners/resellers
• Assist merchants with installations of credit card terminals
• Work with vendors and merchants to install/convert POS Systems
• Configure/Test/Ship credit card terminals
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and configuration issues
• Add detailed notes in the CRM system
• Contribute to the Riverside Payments Knowledge base
• Deliver exceptional customer service to our merchants
• Order equipment and accessories as needed
Qualifications:
Required:
• Past experience in merchant services - focused on tech or deployment, POS implementation, or technical support is required to be successful in this role
• 2+ years of experience with different POS systems. Past experience with Linga, TouchBistro, Revel, and Clover is a massive benefit.
• Past experience working with CRMs or HelpDesk systems would be an asset.
• Mastery of Google Drive and Microsoft Suite
• Strong tendency towards adaptability and agility as priorities can quickly change.
