Job Overview:Kitchen exhaust cleaning (also known as hood cleaning) is the removal of grease accumulated within the ducts, hoods, fans, and vents of commercial kitchen exhaust systems. Failure to clean these systems can lead to an extreme fire hazard.As a Night Shift Kitchen Cleaning Technician at our Colorado location, you'll be at the heart of our operations.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties
  • Cleaning and Maintenance:
    • Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans.
    • Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment
    • Tool Maintenance and Organization
    • Maintaining Vehicle Organization and Cleanliness.
    • Ensuring the facility is meticulously cleaned up before departure.
  • Inspections and Documentation:
    • Pre-inspections of Facilities and Kitchen Exhaust Systems.
    • Post-Inspections of Facilities and Kitchen Exhaust Systems.
    • Photography of Facilities and Kitchen Exhaust Systems.
    • Strictly adhere to Administrative Procedures.
  • Operational and Leadership:
    • Performing tasks independently without direct supervision.
    • Opening and Securing Facilities.
    • Proper Care of Customer Facilities.
    • Driving and Operating Large Vehicles.
    • Management and Mentorship of Associates.

Physical Requirements:
  • Be physically able to climb ladders to gain rooftop access to commercial establishments.
  • Ability to squat, lift, and carry 50 lbs., a minimum of 100 feet.
  • Able to stand for 10 hours at a time.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.
