Company Description

The Kintock Group was founded in 1985 as the Greater Philadelphia Center for Community Corrections (GPCCC), which focused on providing reentry services to individuals in Philadelphia who were transitioning from incarceration back into the community. The not-for-profit organization began its operations in a small building located in central Philadelphia and was awarded its first contract by the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 1987. The program, which served male and female offenders, provided employment services, substance use disorder education, and referrals to social service agencies located within the local community. Kintock continued to expand its services in Philadelphia, contracting with both the City of Philadelphia and the State of Pennsylvania, and in 1992, the companyโ€™s name was changed from GPCCC to the Kintock Group.
