About iteach
iteach is a competency-based educator preparation program helping to fill the void the nation faces with the unprecedented teacher shortage. iteach offers state-approved educator preparation programs in multiple states, enabling recent graduates, career changers, paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, and others to earn their educator licensure through an affordable, flexible, and fully online pathway. Notably, iteach was the first educator preparation program outside of an institution of higher education to earn accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).

Onboarding & Work Arrangement: To support onboarding and relationship-building, new hires may be asked to spend time working in-person (where feasible) during their first 90 days. After this initial period, the role transitions to the standard work arrangement for the position.
Location: Hybrid work arrangement with a mix of remote work and in-office days at our Denton, TX office.
The Opportunity
iteach, a division of K12 Coalition, prepares aspiring educators to become licensed teachers through a flexible, competency-based program. Field supervision is a core part of that experience, connecting teacher candidates with trained supervisors who provide observation, coaching, and feedback across multiple states.
As the Field Supervision Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the operational and technical infrastructure of the field supervision program. This role focuses on coordinating onboarding, maintaining systems and documentation, and supporting field supervisors with the tools and resources they need to be successful.
This is a highly detail-oriented role that helps ensure consistency, organization, and responsiveness across a growing, multi-state program. Your work will directly support program quality while enabling the Director to focus on strategy, compliance, and long-term program development.
The Field Supervision Coordinator reports to the Director, Field Supervision.
What You'll Do
Field Supervisor Onboarding and Coordination
  • Manage the onboarding pipeline for field supervisors, including processing interest forms, tracking candidates, and coordinating next steps
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews, trainings, and calibration sessions
  • Maintain accurate tracking across onboarding stages using internal systems
  • Complete grading and administrative tasks associated with onboarding and training coursework in Canvas

Technology and User Support
  • Develop and maintain step-by-step guides and tutorial materials to support field supervisor onboarding and tool usage
  • Produce screencast videos and multimedia resources to serve as training and ongoing reference tools
  • Provide timely troubleshooting support via email and Zoom for technical questions or issues

Documentation and Program Records
  • Create and maintain a resource library for ongoing technical support and professional development
  • Own and maintain a centralized document hub for field supervision resources, ensuring that content is organized, current, and accessible
  • Track and maintain records related to contracts, credentialing, and compliance across multiple states
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, current, and easily accessible for internal stakeholders

Program Operations and Projects
  • Lead a team of lead supervisors to drive consistent expectations, accountability, and performance standards across the broader field supervisor team
  • Facilitate Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) of field supervisors, including scheduling, communication, and follow-up
  • Serve as a key point of contact for operational questions from field supervisors, ensuring alignment to state-specific requirements and program expectations
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the field supervision team and the payments team to verify and process invoices, resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate financial records
  • Assist with coordination of new state launches and pilot initiatives, including tracking tasks and documentation
  • Support planning and execution of events such as conferences, including scheduling and communication with stakeholders
  • Assist with data collection, organization, and documentation related to accreditation and program review efforts
  • Track action items and follow-ups across cross-functional initiatives

Other Duties
  • Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort working with technology and in hybrid or remote environments
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet) and Zoom or similar platforms
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on tasks
  • Experience supporting projects or workflows involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience creating or maintaining documentation, guides, or training materials
  • Professional and patient approach when supporting individuals with varying levels of technical experience
  • Familiarity with tools such as Canvas, Loom, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Exposure to K-12 education or educator preparation environments is helpful but not required

Compensation Range
The compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000.
As part of our commitment to maintaining fair and consistent compensation practices, new hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the band minimum and midpoint, based on their qualifications, location, internal alignment, and the budgeted amount for the role.
