Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Keyholder to support our dynamic team in achieving operational excellence. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. All candidates
Duties
1) Understand, believe in and promote the work of MCC.
2) Take the lead in making decisions regarding items in the shop.
3) Clean, price and display items for sale in the Shoppe.
4) Make sure that all areas in the Shoppe and work room are neat, clean, and updated on a daily/weekly basis.
5) Oversee all areas of production and are able to fill in where needed.
6) Assist in coaching and hiring
7) Responsible to provide annual reviews of direct reports and report feedback to the General Manager.
8) Oversee clean up at the end of each work shift by providing a checklist in what needs to be done and have them initial it as well as date it.
9) It is extremely important to oversee that work area every Friday afternoon before 4 is all cleaned up and ready for the busy Monday schedule.
10) Keep the confidentiality of all related to opening and closing the Shoppe.
11) Answer Shoppe phone during shift, picking up phone at start of shift and handing off phone answering responsibility to closing keyholder at end of shift.

Our shop has 2 floors (we have an elevator) of upscale high-quality merchandise and treasures for the entire family—beautiful linens, brand-name clothing, purses and shoes, as well as jewelry, housewares, toys, books galore, and must-see vintage & antiques. 100 hand-picked items on our Silent Auction at all times. We offer hand-made Quilts, Aprons, Pillows, and more. We have a 50-cent clothing rack, a store-wide weekly 50% off color tag of the week sale, with that color tag at 75% off on Saturdays. Come visit us during our well-known Christmas Open House (always held the 1 st Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of November). “Where Every Purchase is a Gift to the World.” Shop Hours: M-F 9-5 and Sat 9-4; Donation Room Hours: Mon-Sat 9-4
