About the role

We are looking for a Claims Account Manager to join our Auto Supply Chain team!

As the operational link between our vendor partners and internal claims teams, you'll lead day-to-day supply chain management for the Alberta Auto Rely Network-setting clear performance expectations, monitoring results, and driving continuous improvement. Working closely with the Manager, Claims Network and Operations Teams, you'll help implement consistent processes and best practices that strengthen service quality, efficiency, and the customer experience.

This hybrid position is available in our Calgary or Edmonton offices. Please note that frequent regional travel is required.

What you'll do here:

->Vendor network leadership & performance management

  • Influence and lead the vendor network in the region, supporting the Manager, Supply Chain, to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Establish performance expectations with vendors and ensure targets, service standards, and outcomes are met.
  • Measure, monitor, and communicate vendor performance using data analysis, reporting, and presentations.
  • Review operational data to help identify regional opportunities, risks, and challenges-and recommend actions.
  • Serve as a key escalation point for larger-scale concerns (capacity constraints, system issues, service breakdowns, etc.).
  • Build and maintain respectful, collaborative relationships with vendors and service providers.

->Continuous improvement & operational excellence

  • Partner with internal teams and supply chain vendors to build, pilot, and implement efficient and effective work processes using a solution-focused approach.
  • Support the development and execution of network initiatives, workflows, and operational practices to achieve key business goals.
  • Ensure effective implementation of and compliance with company policies, procedures, and network management processes.
  • Balance quality of service with efficiency-driving continuous improvement across operations and practices.
  • Approach challenges proactively: invite diverse perspectives, collaborate on solutions, and take ownership of decisions and outcomes.

->Customer experience, resilience & sustainability

  • Collaborate with the network to improve customer experience and drive advocacy through best-in-class service.
  • Support customer experience initiatives while ensuring vendors can meet capacity and service expectations.
  • Contribute to natural-disaster readiness by helping prepare the supply chain response and acting when events occur.
  • Support the transition to Net Zero and sustainability initiatives within the supply chain.

What you bring to the table:

  • Valid Alberta Driver's License. Regional travel is required.
  • Auto insurance experience is required; knowledge of body shop and appraisal environments is a strong asset.
  • Strong performance management capability and comfort holding partners accountable to results.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and strong presentation skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
