Key Account Manager
LaSalle Network is hiring for a Key Account Manager with a leading company in the chemical manufacturing industry, known for its innovative solutions and growth within the industrial space. This opportunity offers the chance to manage large, strategic accounts in a dynamic environment that values collaboration and long-term partnership development. The Key Account Manager role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in complex sales, procurement, or supply chain within the chemical or adjacent industrial sectors, who thrive on strategic planning and high-level relationship management. This is a direct hire opportunity with a focus on existing account expansion and limited new business development.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of large, strategic key accounts with $10M+ relationships.
  • Develop and execute long-term account strategies to ensure growth and retention.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and overall account health management.
  • Cultivate and maintain customer relationships across Procurement, Engineering, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
  • Oversee customer performance, margins, and cross-functional issue resolution.
  • Travel approximately 50-70% to meet client needs and foster relationships.
  • Focus primarily on existing account growth (85-90%) with limited new business development (10-15%).

Qualifications
  • Proven Key Account Management experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles.
  • Strong contract negotiation and strategic account planning skills.
  • Experience in the chemical industry or adjacent industrial manufacturing sectors (adhesives, resins, coatings, polymers, specialty materials, etc.).
  • Strong commercial sales background or procurement/buying within the chemical space.
  • Procurement experience or a strong negotiation mindset is a significant plus.
