Administrative Assistant

Avon Lake, OH

R&K Technologies is currently searching for an Administrative Assistant to perform a wide variety of office support and administrative functions in support of the assigned departments.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma (GED) required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of customer service or sales support experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Experience ordering through UPS and FedEx
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
  • Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, or members of the business community
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in both written and oral communication with supervisors, clients, staff, vendors, etc.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Experience in a CRM database management, Microsoft Office Suite, and QuickBooks knowledge preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Take phone orders for consumables and services calls
  • Communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, or explain information, and address complaints
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties, such as generating and distributing memos, letters, spreadsheets, forms, and faxes, and sorting and distributing incoming mail
  • Learn to operate wide-format printing equipment to fulfill walk-in and email orders of blueprints and other requests
  • Set up and maintain filing systems
  • Consumable inventory and ordering
  • Maintain customer databases through Eautomate
  • Communicate verbally and in writing to answer inquiries and provide information to customers and staff of R&K Technologies
  • Enter service tickets into Eautomate
  • Answer and transfer phone calls
  • Assist in A/R customer follow up for delinquent accounts
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
