Job description

Job Title: Facilities Project Support Technician Location: Lynchburg, Virginia Type: Contract Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Support Facility Projects Managers by physically being on the job sites overseeing construction projects.
  • Act as a liaison between the contractors and Project Manager.
  • Ensure the site is safe according to standards and safety rules.
  • Verify that all personnel have the proper PPE for the job.
  • Maintain construction barriers as needed.
  • Keep construction sites safe and compliant with industry safety standards.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with construction teams and management.
Requirements:
  • Background check required
  • Initial/Random Drug Tests
  • Site Access and safety training will be required
  • Reliability, punctuality, and dedication
  • Good communication skills
  • Trustworthiness and responsibility
  • Knowledge of construction techniques
  • Knowledge of construction industry safety standards
  • Flexibility to work standard hours Monday-Friday 7:00-4:30, with overtime and weekends as required
