Job Summary:
Peterson Technologies is a leading provider of mission-critical solutions focused on data and network security. They are seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to analyze user requirements, develop system specifications, and provide technical leadership for system integration and design activities.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Analyzes userโ€™s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
โ€ข Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities.
โ€ข Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
โ€ข Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
โ€ข Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
โ€ข Develops technical documentation.
โ€ข Develops system Architecture and system design documentation.
โ€ข Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
โ€ข Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
โ€ข Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
โ€ข Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
โ€ข Five (5) years of SE experience may be substituted for a bachelorโ€™s degree.
